Desarrollo de nuevos materiales luminiscentes nanoestructurados mediante métodos quí­micos (Sí­ntesis por Combustión, Microwave Assisted, Sol-Gel, Hidrotermal, MOCVD, Spray Pirólisis, etc.) y técnicas de depósito de pelí­culas delgadas (ablación láser, erosión iónica, depósito por vapor quí­mico). Estudio de las propiedades fisicoquí­micas con técnicas espectroscópicas (luminiscencia, radioluminiscencia, Termoluminiscencia, XPS, Raman, EDS, catodoluminiscencia, electroluminiscencia, etc.).
