Profesor Asistente (equivalente a Profesor Titular A de la UANM) en el mencionado Instituto en 1995. Recibi\u00f3 su grado de Doctor en Ciencias F\u00edsicas, otorgado por la Consejo Nacional de Grados Cient\u00edficos de Cuba, en febrero de 1999, en la especialidad de Cristalograf\u00eda<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> Ingresa al Centro de Nanociencias y Nanotecnolog\u00eda-UNAM (antes Centro de Ciencias de la Materia Consensada) por contrato posdoctoral en febrero del 2002 y se contrata por obra determinada desde enero del 2005 a enero del 2007 como Investigador Asociado C de TC. En febrero del 2007 se promociona a Investigador Titular A, obtiene su Definitividad en octubre del 2008 y se promociona a Titular B en 2012. Es Investigador Titular C desde septiembre del 2022.\u00a0<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es pionero y l\u00edder en el CNyN en dos l\u00edneas de investigaci\u00f3n cient\u00edfica en el \u00e1rea de la Nanociencia y Nanotecnolog\u00eda, la de \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Materiales Multiferroicos Magnetoel\u00e9ctricos<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d y la de \u201c<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Nanocompuestos Fotoactivos<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201d. Es especialista de alto nivel con gran experiencia en la obtenci\u00f3n y caracterizaci\u00f3n estructural y de las propiedades el\u00e9ctricas, magn\u00e9ticas, y magnetoel\u00e9ctricas de cer\u00e1micas, pel\u00edculas delgadas y heteroestructuras de materiales multifuncionales multiferr\u00f3icos; en la s\u00edntesis y caracterizaci\u00f3n estructural y de las propiedades f\u00edsico-qu\u00edmicas de nanocompuestos fotoactivos basados en el crecimiento de nanopart\u00edculas met\u00e1licas y\/o semiconductoras en matrices zeol\u00edticas; y en el estudio te\u00f3rico-experimental del acoplamiento de las propiedades f\u00edsicas de materiales multiferroicos.
