Es <\/span><b>Doctor en F\u00edsica<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> por la <\/span><b>Universidad de Ohio<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, Estados Unidos (1999), donde realiz\u00f3 estudios te\u00f3ricos de las propiedades optoelectr\u00f3nicas de semiconductores. Tiene un <\/span><b>posdoctorado<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> (1999-2001) por la <\/span><b>Universidad de Simon Fraser<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">, British Columbia (Canad\u00e1) donde realiz\u00f3 investigaciones en el activo campo de la <\/span><b>espintr\u00f3nica<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. A finales del 2001 se incorpora como profesor-investigador del Departamento de F\u00edsica (Te\u00f3rica) del actual Centro de Nanociencias y Nanotecnolog\u00eda (<\/span><b>CNyN<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">) de la <\/span><b>UNAM<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> en Ensenada B.C. \u00a0 <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Su campo de investigaci\u00f3n se concentra en el estudio te\u00f3rico de fen\u00f3menos espintr\u00f3nicos en nanomateriales. En particular en a\u00f1os recientes se ha enfocado en la descripci\u00f3n de las propiedades de transporte electr\u00f3nico y de esp\u00edn en nanoestructuras semiconductoras y ferromagn\u00e9ticas, as\u00ed como\u00a0 en nano-dispositivos espintr\u00f3nicos (Esp\u00edn-FETs y filtros de esp\u00edn).
