C. en el Centro de Nanociencias y Nanotecnolog\u00eda (CNyN) de la UNAM desde septiembre de 2022. El Dr. Ponce curs\u00f3 la carrera de Ingenier\u00eda en Materiales en la Facultad de Ingenier\u00eda Qu\u00edmica (2007-2012) de la Benem\u00e9rita Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Puebla (BUAP).<\/span><\/h6>\n<h6><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Posteriormente curs\u00f3 la Maestr\u00eda en Ciencias (en la esp. de ciencia de materiales) en el Instituto de F\u00edsica Luis Rivera Terrazas de la misma instituci\u00f3n (2012-2013), donde tambi\u00e9n realiz\u00f3 sus estudios de doctorado (2014-2018) en el Doctorado en ciencias (en la esp. de ciencia de materiales) bajo la tutela del Dr. Gregorio Hern\u00e1ndez Cocoletzi y Dr. Noboru Takeuchi Tan, durante sus estudios de doctorado realiz\u00f3 una estancia de investigaci\u00f3n en Ohio University donde se enfoc\u00f3 al estudio de diferentes superficies de CrN. El Dr. Ponce present\u00f3 la defensa de su tesis de doctorado en marzo de 2018, con la cual gan\u00f3 el premio a Mejor tesis de doctorado Otorgado por la Sociedad Mexicana de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda de Superficies y Materiales A.C. En 2018 realiz\u00f3 una estancia posdoctoral en la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Coahuila y en 2019 se incorpor\u00f3 al CNyN como becario posdoctoral durante tres a\u00f1os hasta su contrataci\u00f3n.
