El Dr. Jonathan Guerrero Sánchez, es un investigador joven con una vasta experiencia en el estudio de materiales magnéticos y no magnéticos a través del uso de cálculos de primeros principios (cuántico-computacionales). Es investigador Titular A de Tiempo Completo en el Centro de Nanociencias y Nanotecnología. En su trayectoria de investigación ha publicado alrededor de 150 artículos en revistas indizadas de circulación internacional, con 980 citas y un factor Hirsh de 14. Tiene un promedio de publicaciones por año -desde que se desarrolla como investigador- de ~21. Cuenta con publicaciones en revistas de la importancia de Science, Advanced Energy Materials, NanoEnergy, entre otras. Su principal interés es el desarrollo de estudios teórico-experimentales. Cuenta con colaboraciones consolidadas con investigadores experimentales y teóricos de estados unidos como el Dr. Joseph P. Corbett (Miami University), Chetan Dital (Kenessaw State University), Jay Gupta (Ohio State University), Arthur R. Smith (Ohio University) y Dr. Aldo H.
